Kristina Õllek (b. 1989) is a visual artist based in Tallinn, Estonia. She works in the field of photography, video, and installation art, and questions the relations between space, object and image. Her work examines contemporary visual culture, how representation can be mediated and how it influences our perception. She is particularly interested in the format of exhibition making and in the phenomenon of art documentation, regarding how its position has changed in the digital age. The work exhibited at the Estonian Photographic Art Fair is a context-specific photographic installation, which was initially shown in Brussels at alternative art fair Poppositions, and is a follow-up for her same titled exhibition trilogy.
