Leah Beeferman (b. 1982) is an artist from New York, currently based in Helsinki. Her work — photographic digital prints, video, and sound — considers relationships among nature, abstraction, perception, contemporary physics, and the digital. She has had solo exhibitions at Rawson Projects, NY, and Sorbus, Helsinki. Recent two-person and group exhibitions include Klaus von Nichtssagend, NY; Bass & Reiner, San Francisco; and Fridman Gallery, NY. Residencies include LMCC Workspace, NY; The Arctic Circle, Svalbard; and Mustarinda, Finland. Publications include Triple Point, an artist book published by Lodret Vandret, Copenhagen. Most recently, she has been the recipient of a Fulbright Scholar Grant to Finland.
