Viktor Gurov (b. 1989) graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts as a graphic designer in 2014 and is currently doing a master’s degree in photography at the EAA Faculty of Fine Arts. He also spent a year as an exchange student at the Aalto University in Helsinki and is occasionally a guest lecturer at the EAA. Viktor Gurov currently works as a freelance graphic designer and has designed several exhibitions and catalogues. Gurov has participated in group exhibitions in Estonia and abroad. He is a member of an artist group named Neanderthal Caveschool, member of the board of NGO New Material (art-project/magazine) and is a founder of a graffiti group Multistab. His artistic practice is interested in the public space and its relations with individual everyday practices.
