Tallinn Photomonth contemporary art biennial is hosting a press preview on 3 September at 11 am at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM).
Intensive places, the main exhibition of the 6th Tallinn Photomonth biennial, will span across the city starting from September 3. Curated by The Creative Association of Curators TOK / Anna Bitkina and Maria Veits it will be presented at the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (EKKM) and a few satellite locations, including a hotel in the city center, the largest dormant district of Tallinn, National Library of Estonia and a former folk house in the city outskirts.
Tallinn Photomonth is an artist led biennial of contemporary art and visual culture. Although started in 2011 by a group of artists working primarily with photography and video, the biennial has never been a narrowly media-based event, rather it looks more broadly at developments in art and society in a world mediated by cameras, screens and images.
